From the cinematographer … Shalaine contacted us a while back about filming her wedding in Newport, Rhode Island. Having visited the picturesque town before and deciding that it was our most favorite getaway place, we knew this was going to be a special event. For our first meeting, Shalaine suggested meeting at Gregory’s Coffee. Since we are coffee fanatics, we thought what better place than that. Little did we know that Shalaine’s fiancee is the one and only Greg (the owner of Gregory’s Coffee).
We hit it off with Shalaine right away. Her bubbly personality, constant smiles, genuine remarks and down to earth persona made us feel like she was a good old friend. That day we also knew that her and Greg’s wedding was going to be one of a kind.
Shalaine made sure that even the littlest details were just perfect. They exchanged vows at Newport’s St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church and as they walked out of the church as newlyweds, guests paved their way for them with lavender seeds. Followed by dinner and reception at the elegant Castle Hill Inn where an amazing sunset completed the more than perfect evening.
