Alder Mansion Wedding from Charlotte Jenks Lewis Photography

I can’t help but get a little giddy every time Wedding Wednesday rolls around. Not only because it means wedding after gorgeous wedding all day long, but the rally of excitement, excessive pinning, and #WW Twitter love that follows. But to kick off one such special day, it takes a wedding with an extra umph of sparkle. *Enter* this pretty little number from Charlotte Jenks Lewis Photography that brings the modern fairytale fete to life. Join me for some major swoon in the full gallery right here.

From the Bride…Neither Simon nor I are from New York; Simon is from Bermuda and I am Canadian. Since we have built our life together in New York, we wanted it to be the place we were married. The emphasis for us was on family and friends and basically throwing an amazing party! We knew we wanted it to be unique. Alder Manor was the perfect place for us because it was outside of the city, huge, and so beautiful. The wallpaper was peeling off the walls in some areas but it added to the charm. The actually building was gorgeous and the grounds were sprawling and a little wild, which was perfect. It ended up being exactly what we hoped for – Fun, easy, and filled with the people we love.
