This wedding is gorgeous, no doubt about it. And it’s literally bursting with beautifully crafted moments that are some of the prettiest you’ll ever see. But when you peel back the layers upon layers of pretty (and there’s a lot of it), shining brighter than ever is the larger than life love between these two sweeties. From K Stone Photography… Karen called me in the Spring last year. Her voice was shaking as she told me that her wedding was going to have to be changed, postponed. Her fiance, JP was getting deployed and would be gone on their scheduled date. It was heartbreaking news, and to hear that this was not his first deployment, in a short span of time, made it that much harder. Yet they did it: They sacrificed their own wedding so that JP could serve our country.
And they are both so resilient. Their wedding day was rescheduled and happened this November, ten days after JP came home. The day was absolutely stunning and came together beautifully with the help of some amazing vendors.
JP and Karen were married on the lawn of TJ Farms Estate surrounded by the United States Air Force Honor Guard and hundreds of family and friends. It was a powerful ceremony, full of love and commitment and emotion. The details of the day, were beautifully placed. Cambray Rose Florist, designed perfect bouquets and centerpieces.
And we were honored to capture the many moments of the day. JP and Karen have a love and joy that is totally contagious. They can make a room full of people laugh and cry all at the same time. It’s not everyday that a couple will put their dreams on hold for our freedom, to serve our country. And so this day was especially powerful, the day that these two could finally be together made for a beautiful, beautiful event.
