I just love it when a bride and groom describe their wedding day as the best day of their lives. It just makes me happy. And when that “best day” takes place in the tropical paradise otherwise known as Bali, it’s easy to understand why. Because what brings more joy than an saying “I do” amongst towering palm trees, hanging lanterns and fifty of your closest friends and family? Yep… absolutely nothing. From the Bride… We have always loved the beauty and magic in Bali and decided to get married there as we wanted to create an outdoor oasis for our guests. We wanted the whole wedding to be outside and we wanted to ensure warm weather, in Melbourne Australia it is hard to ensure warm weather. We found Villa Mathis which we fell in love with and had a wedding planner from Baliku Weddings.
The day was relaxed, warm, fun and filled with a strong feeling of love. All of the staff from Villa Mathis and Baliku Weddings had been to the temples to do blessings for us to ensure happiness and good weather on the day. We felt so blessed to be surrounded by such beautiful kind people as well as 53 family and friends. The wedding ended with us jumping in the pool and all the guests being thrown in after us. The wedding was the best day of our lives.
