No, dear SMPers, this crazy-beautiful British Columbia soiree is not a photo shoot, nor are the bride and groom models, it’s simply one of the most breathtaking weddings I’ve seen to date with a mountain backdrop that still has me weak in the knees. Brought to us by the ever-talented Spread Love Events and Rebecca Amber Photography, the al-fresco fête held at North Arm Farm was inspired by the farm-to-table dining series Outstanding in the Field. From the Bride…Whenever I look back at pictures I am immediately taken back to the magic and intense emotion of the day. I can’t imagine a more spectacular day. I vividly recall closing my eyes at one point in the evening, Dan’s hand holding tightly onto mine, intimately surrounded by family and friends, and thinking, it doesn’t get any better than this. Everything was perfect – the location; the food; the dance party that ensued; the people, in particular the people, and of course the fact that I had married my best friend and soulmate.
From Spread Love Events… Imagine dining alfresco on a farmers field with a long table set for one hundred of your closest friends and family. Inspired by the Outstanding in the Field long table dining series, Sarah and Dan’s wedding was just that. A magical and intimate evening filled with great friends and family, spectacular views, amazing farm to table cuisine by Araxi and one heck of a dance party! Held in the Pemberton Valley at North Arm Farm with Mt Currie as their backdrop, it was the ultimate guest experience and memory. The wedding began with an intimate ceremony under a Chuppah built by the brides dad and brother; and a song written, composed and performed for the Sarah and Dan by Sarah’s bridesmaid Nicole. Wildflower arrangements and rustic vintage decor pieces highlighted the farms natural beauty, while a collection of vintage china and handwritten place cards personalized each guests place setting. The long table was set in the middle of the field with the stunning mountain range in the distance and flickering candlelight as the sun went down.
We had so much fun coordinating and styling this beautiful rustic and romantic wedding alongside the lovely bride Sarah. Thanks to Rebecca Amber Photography for capturing the day so beautifully! Enjoy!
