And in the case of this breathtakingly gorgeous NYC affair, it was meant-to-be with a mind-blowing contemporary design held at Studio 450 with just a dash of whimsy. From DM Events… Rosanne and Chris had a wonderful hands-on approach to their weddings day. Everything was personal – from the homemade mixers for the signature cocktails to the adorably entertaining swing dance they performed! Their touch was in every nook and cranny!
From the start, Rosanne envisioned a design that was soft, but minimal. We knew right away that we needed to create exceptionally clean lines, so we paired long tables with modern chairs to begin developing the design she loved. We were very careful with color – almost everything at the wedding was white, gray, or silver. The color and the soft elements of the design are only found in the touches of florals – we selected notoriously soft flowers including hydrangeas, roses, carnations, and ranunculus in order to freshen the otherwise crisp design. The stationery was kept very modern and in line with the overall design theme. There was a bit of whimsy snuck in at the dessert bar! Guests had a blast sipping milk and snacking on treats well into the early morning!
