Alabama Farm Wedding from Anna Pociask Photography

I hope you have cleared you calendar because we have nine beautiful weddings coming your way today. First up….Alabama lovers. When a sweet-as-pie couple exchange intimate vows beneath the branches of an apple tree, it is only proper to also have a thousand pretty streamers blowing in the wind, wouldn’t you say? Anna Pociask got it right with this farm-filled wedding. The gorgeous images of M. Elizabeth Wedding and Event‘s designs were accented by vintage bicycles, corn hole lawn games and one very feisty rooster. You have to see all the loveliness play out over in the gallery. It’s a total must.

From Anna Pociask…This is by far the cutest barn wedding I have ever shot. There was a cute little chicken coop there that even made the atmosphere that much more sweet. The flower arrangements on the combined long tables were something you would see off of pinterest. The whole wedding and reception was laid back, with country lovin in the air everywhere. The outdoor reception with hanging lights gave the night such a romantic feel.

From the Bride..My vision for my wedding day was to create an intimate atmosphere that combined all the warmth of southern style with chic finishing touches. We chose J&D Farms for its beautiful views, cozy barn and the lovely orchard where we said our vows. The simplicity of the old apple trees and natural wood chairs was the perfect setting for a warm, intimate and simple ceremony. The acoustic guitarist added to the charm by playing current favorites such as Trains “Marry Me” as the bridal party entered. After our “I Do’s” we invited our guest to the barn to enjoy food, dancing, cocktails and a few friendly games of Corn Hole. We spoiled our guest with some of the best food the south has to offer: shrimp and grits with all the fixins’, fried green tomatoes and home made banana pudding. For favors we had a serve yourself cookie bar for everyone to take for a late night snack. We kept the reception light and fun with lots of dancing and great music  from our DJ. We ended our celebration with a romantic sparkler send off. It was truly a day to remember.
