Vermont Wedding at Sevon Lodge State Park from Megan Haley Photography

This wedding from Megan Haley Photography? It’s filled with heart. And the images tell a story worth listening to. Filled to the brim with amazing touches that made their big day fabulously memorable (like boats for their guests to take out on the pond), and a gorgeous Vermont backdrop that can’t be beat, it’s one gallery you simply can’t help but love. See it all here.

From Megan Haley Photography… Brooklyn couple Dan and Lindsay chose to have their wedding at the beautiful Seyon Lodge in Groton State Park in Vermont. The Lodge at Seyon is situated within the 27,000 acres of Groton State Forest. The ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all took place in front of Noyes Pond. The overwhelming feeling at the wedding was simply the love of friends and family and FUN! With boats for the guests to take out on the expansive “pond” throughout the whole day, to the ping pong table set up on the lawn. A table just for kids gifts, complete with fake mustaches. The wedding included an old wedding tradition of “Burying the Bourbon,” where you bury the unopened bottle of whiskey a year in this case, before the wedding, at the ceremony site. The tradition is to then dig it up on your wedding day to enjoy with friends.
