Monroe Wedding at The Cotton Warehouse from Stella Harper Events

Stella Harper Events designed and created this gorgeous vintage chic wedding for this out-of-state bride and groom. With a pretty and fresh color palette of pinks and blues, they crafted a unique day filled with lots of antique and handmade details. Blume Photography snapped up all the images and you can see it all right here the full gallery.

From Stella Harper EventsVirginia and James were married at the Cotton Warehouse in Monroe, Georgia. They both live in Washington, DC, but decided to have the wedding in Georgia because everyone would be coming from out of town and the groom’s parents live in Georgia. Virginia and James hired Stella Harper Events (SHE) originally for our Rehearsal + Day of Package originally, but sadly the groom’s father passed away suddenly about 6 months before the wedding. The design for the ceremony was a project that was supposed to be completed by the father, but after his passing, Virginia and James did not want to go forward with that design I believe because it was just too painful.

Hearing of their loss, I offered to take hold of the design and make it something they would love, around the color scheme already set in place (blues and pinks). I worked with our preferred vendors to ensure the florals were reflective of the couple. We found the tins and china plate table numbers that were on the guest tables at local antique shops and on Etsy. The bunting flags (chalkboard sign on the sweets table, fabric bunting on the mantle and on the cake) were all hand made by SHE. It really was a fun project.
