Valentine’s Day Photo Shoot from Found Vintage Rentals

Happy Valentine’s Day SMPer’s! We’re kicking things off with some vintage prettiness that will inspire your heart and your home (regardless of your relationship status). When it comes to February 14th, isn’t love the bottom line?! And doesn’t it come in all shapes and sizes!?! Friends, parents, children, siblings, furry family members… don’t they all deserve a little shout out today!? We think so too. Brought to us by Found Vintage Rentals, with photography by Studio EMP and fresh florals from Inviting Occasion, this intimate get-together is sweet inspiration for your next soiree and everyone is invited (yes, even our four-legged pals). Because sometimes V-day is meant to be spent in the company of good friends and in this case, with a good ol’ fashioned game night. So in the spirit of he L word, round up all your loved ones for an evening of fun. Just make sure to stop in the gallery before you go.

From Found Vintage Rentals… The Game of Love is a story of celebration, joy, love, and intimacy. This shoot was conceived for our website’s look book featuring our collections newest pieces. The story of this inspired shoot unfolds in the loft of Found Vintage Rentals’ warehouse in Fullerton, Ca. Our inspiration for the shoot came from a desire to combine the harsher tones of an industrial setting with the warmth of affection found in this season’s biggest holiday. The tale that evolved was of a dinner party and game night among close friends. With a tablescape made absolutely elegant by Casa De Perrin, a lounge vignette with pieces from Found Vintage Rentals and florals from Inviting Occasion, we created a home in the loft of our warehouse. We couldn’t have done this shoot without Joel from Studio EMP who captured this scene so beautifully. We brought the game night alive with a number of vintage board games and beautiful couple, Sam and Sydnee. A favorite touch in the shoot is Lucy, the lovely golden retriever spotted in a number of photos. Third child to Joel and Jeni Maus of Studio EMP and Found Vintage Rentals, Lucy finds her way into each Found look book (and we plan to keep it that way). Another special touch was created by Joel Maus. He built the awesome reclaimed wood wall the morning of the shoot and in just a few weeks that wall will be turned to tables in the Found collection. This shoot was an amazing group effort and wouldn’t have been possible without such a fabulous team. We so love all those involved and hope to have our own dinner + game party with them very soon. Some croon that love is a game and others that it is a verb. At Found, it is everything. It is the why, the who and the how and is always a story worth telling.
