Al fresco affairs will always hold a rather large spot in my heart. The thought of celebrating two people, pledging their love for each other under the stars and twinkling lights is the definition of the perfect night to me. So when my eyes spot a beauty like this one from Michael + Anna Costa and Orange Blossom Special Events, I stop for awhile to let myself take it all in. From the Bride… The best feeling was that our wedding was the perfect combination of elegance mixed with the history of Los Angeles via the Adamson House and the present beauty of the Surf Rider Beach meeting the Malibu Lagoon. We really were so happy to be at this breathtaking place with our friends and families to share our unforgettable day. The biggest scare was the weather. We were lucky to have all of the elements that we sought after for our wedding miraculously come together on our day.
We really wanted the wedding outdoors surrounded by the beach and the stars at night; however, the days and night before the weather was not cooperating. Now looking back, we really gambled by not renting a tent that would impede the beautiful view. The amazing thing was after the rain and freezing cold winds the night before, the wedding day was warm and brilliantly clear!
