What Cinco de Mayo day wedding would be complete without a late night margarita bar + Mexican food spread? Certainly not this Chicago wedding from Orange 2 Photography! The bride + groom chose to say "I do" in Chicago after a surprise Paris proposal, and brought on the incredibly talented Anthony Gowder Designs + Take The Cake to create their dream wedding. You can see the rest of this pretty little number right here.

From Orange 2 Photo... From their first meeting in Chicago in October 2009, Heather Morris and Jon Stanner knew it was only the beginning. Both coming from small towns in the midwest, it was truly a perfect match. After a surprise proposal in Paris during a trip to France and Spain in 2011, the two had no trouble deciding to host their celebration in the Windy City.

After an enjoyable year of planning their big day finally arrived. As the fog lifted on that sweet Spring day, Belen and her team at Orange 2 Photo captured the excitement of the couple during their first meeting at the top of the InterContinental on Michigan Avenue. Light pink peonies dusted the Grand Ballroom with accents of soft gold and ivory, setting a romantic scene for the ceremony. The staff at the InterContinental provided top notch dinner service for the reception. Guests finished off their meal with Purdue themed cookies (Jon’s alma mater) and a perfect slice of cake provided by Take the Cake. All of their family and friends packed the dance floor during the reception, which could not have thrilled the bride and groom any more! With a surprise margarita bar and elaborate late night food spread, this Cinco de Mayo celebration could not have been any more perfect and memorable for the couple.
