The very talented Jacqueline Schlossman of Readyluck captured this laid-back love affair and we’re totally captivated by every single farm-fresh image. It’s proof yet again that rain can’t dampen the spirit of such a special day and it’s all right here for your viewing pleasure.
From Readyluck… Emily, a professionally trained former boxer and yoga teacher and Nicole, a public school teacher, tied the knot on July 27, 2012 at Liberty View Farm in Highland, New York. This is a couple that gives back to their community and it shows; they are centered and creative people that were very enjoyable to work with. Their family and friends came together to support this union on a stormy morning. I arrived to the tune of muddy puddles and tons of rain wondering how this would all come together but confident that something special would occur. It was amazing to see so many of their friends decorating the barn and arranging the chairs as they made the decision to have the ceremony inside; they were running around with rubber boots on and making sure everything looked beautiful. I have never seen a more supportive group of people during the wedding day; their community helped them make it happen and delivered more toasts than I’ve ever experienced at a wedding. Inside the main house, their caterer friends were prepared organic and farm fresh food to be enjoyed throughout the afternoon and evening. The certified organic apple orchard and farm was an idyllic setting and became even more amazing when the sun came out after the ceremony for their portraits. What an awesome venue, and I was so thrilled to work with the owners Billiam and Rene who are both amazing people and have made contributions to the farming and political worlds.
