South Carolina Wedding at Richfield Plantation from Apryl Ann Photography

Do you hear that? That’s my heart singing from this perfectly captured southern soiree from Apryl Ann Photography. It was love at first sight really, from the lace Paloma Blanca gown to the bountiful florals and beautiful stylings from Southern Graces to the sweeping spanish moss – it’s honest to goodness South Carolina perfection, and it’s all sitting pretty right here.

From Apryl Ann PhotographyI am beyond excited to share this Beaufort, SC wedding with you!! Wes and Wendy both graduated from the University of South Carolina so their hearts longed to have a destination wedding there. They met while working for a cotton merchant company and wanted to incorporate the element of cotton into their elegant southern affair. Seersucker suits, Cornhole, fig preserves, green hydrangeas, large beautiful pink peonies, mercury glass, and burlap are just a few elements Wendy and Wes chose to decorate their day. Wendy and Wes were married on June 2, 2012 at the Old Sheldon Church Ruins. This church was build in the 1700’s and has since been set on fire two times. What is left is breathtaking. Their reception took place at the Richfield Plantation, built in the 1800’s. The plantation home still showcases original materials including the staircase and flooring. The outside is covered by majestic oaks and spanish moss.
