Fort Mill, South Carolina Wedding from Landon Jacob Productions

Southern charm. Complete and utter charm. That’s what this bride and groom envisioned and that’s what they got at their Dairy Barn wedding at Leroy Springs.  A feeling of warmth and personality that would stand the test of time. With Landon Jacob Productions by their side, some knock your socks off scenery and some do-it-yourself details, they created the wedding of their dreams. Make sure you take note of the hand-crafted cross at the altar… such a simple thing, yet such a memory-maker. Enjoy their story. Immerse yourself in their delightful gallery.

From the Bride… Overall, I wanted my wedding to be really charming and elegant, with a touch of southern. I wanted things to be simple and timeless so that I could look back on my photos and still love everything as much as I did on the wedding day itself. The times that we are the happiest are the times where everyone else is having fun, so we wanted the atmosphere to be very fun-loving and welcoming. With that, we decided to get married at the Leroy Springs Dairy Barn in Fort Mill, South Carolina. We decided to get married in the loft of the barn and then have the reception downstairs and outside. We did not want to take away from the simple beauty of the loft itself, so we kept decorations minimal for the ceremony. To add a personal touch, D.J. and his grandfather built the 7 foot wooden cross that was at the front of the aisle. In order to create the fun atmosphere that we desired for the reception, we had personalized cornhole boards and haybale seating outside near the dance floor. Another personal touch that we added to the reception was adding small black and white photos to our centerpieces – the pictures were of the Kenyan children that we have fallen in love with during our mission trips to Kijabe, Kenya. Kijabe, Kenya is very dear to our hearts as that is the place that we first met (even though we grew up only 15 minutes apart!) and the place that we got engaged.
