From Anita of Creative Expressions Invitation Couture… As an invitation designer, I don’t always have the opportunity to see the wedding day that my stationery introduces and accents. However, the beautiful day of Sabrina and Kuno, planned and designed by An English Rose and captured by Sophimage Photography, was an absolutely stunning wedding, and it was such a pleasure to be able to see my stationery accenting this most exquisite event.
Sabrina and Kuno were introduced by chance on Facebook when Sabrina saw Kuno’s picture appear on her friend’s profile. She was instantly attracted to him and wanted to know more about him. She added him as a friend, they immediately hit it off, and soon after, found themselves on their first date at Vauvert, Hotel St-Paul. Their eyes locked, and it was love at first sight. From that first date, they have been inseparable and completely in love.
Two years later, Kuno got down on one knee and proposed to Sabrina in front of all of their family and friends. After much anticipation and excitement, their wedding day finally came on June 2, 2012. They were married at the magnificent Notre-Dame Basilica of Montreal, and the celebration continued at the boutique Hotel Nelligan in Old Montreal. It was a true fairytale wedding, true to their idea of “Victorian, Elegant, Romantic.” This special day is one to remember forever. It would never have been possible without all of the very talented vendors that made this day a reality!
