From Sweet Monday Photography… Nikki and Tamin met at Harvard Business School and currently live in San Francisco. They were super-excited to introduce all their Midwest and California friends and family to the Boston area. Tamin grew up in Cambridge with his three brothers, and their family home was the perfect venue for this classy, elegant wedding. We started with a first look at the Boston Public Library and then went to the Harvard Business School for some portraits before heading to Tamin’s home. We loved all the fountains and statues around the property, and Nikki found so many treasures in the basement that she dragged out to the backyard to add to the decor, including furniture, suitcases, typewriters, candelabras and books. All of the girls wore different white or cream dresses from Rent the Runway, and Nikki herself had two fabulous gowns: a ruffled Vera Wang and a pink Reem Acra for dancing the night away. Nikki’s sister (the maid of honor) and one of Tamin’s brothers (the best man) shared officiating duties, which made for a very special ceremony. The party was held in a gorgeous tent with the chandeliers revealing the shadows of the trees above. The food was delicious farm to fork catering, and we especially loved that the table numbers doubled as the cake. Nikki and Tamin went around and cut the first slice of cake for each of the tables, which was a great way to celebrate with each of their guests. The entire day was brilliantly coordinated by the lovely Adrienne and Elizabeth of Gracie Lou Events.
