New York City happens to be home to some of the most sophisticated weddings we’ve ever had the privilege to lay our eyes upon here at SMP and, in the case of this dazzling Hudson Terrace affair captured by Khaki Bedford Weddings, one of the most heartwarming. Because when it comes to weddings that are guaranteed to make you smile, this dapper duo most definitely takes first prize with an evening that was not only designed to absolute perfection (dapper PLUS talented), but was filled with one moment after another of pure, unadulterated HAPPY. From Khaki Bedford Weddings… I loved shooting Stephen and Jeremy’s awesome wedding! It was at Hudson Terrace near Times Square, which used to be an old horse stable. It is located right next to the Intrepid Space Shuttle on the Hudson River, so we had a really cool location for outdoor photos on the pier. The couple has such great style! Their color scheme was navy with yellow accents, and they had a custom logo made of both of their initials (S & J) which they used throughout the decor, including the ring pillow, invitations, matchbooks, etc.
It is always so touching for me to shoot same-sex weddings in NYC since it became legal last October. There is never a dry eye in the house during the toasts, and this was no exception!
