From Taylor Made Events and Design... I wanted to glam up a wedding without making it look cheesy. I love simplicity with a touch of sparkle. Starting with the dress, we added a sheer gold band to this simple dress to spice it up. With a touch of pearls and a sparkly shoe, this bride was put together. Gold shimmer eyes with a soft lip looked beautiful on this bride. Her hair was pinned to the side with a slight '40s inspiration. Thanks to Rhyan Townsend, she looked breathtaking. After the ceremony, the bride switched into her spunky party dress. The dress is a one-of-a-kind vintage piece. It has hand-stitched bead work with a frayed look to the bottom and sleeves. We took a few hair pins out so she could dance the night away!

As for the table, I wanted elegant plates with an edge. We achieved this by using simple plates with a glam gold lining. A tea plate next to them with a gold pear on top was perfect. On top of each plate, we added a white napkin with gold stitching. We wrapped the napkin in gold bells the guests could later use to ring in the new year! Oversized water goblets and gold wine glasses filled the table with the perfect amount of translucency to them. Oh, and you can never say no to gold flatware! Your guests will feel like royalty. The florist, Ranay, did an amazing job providing unique floral arrangements consisting of pink protea, cymbidium orchid blooms, succulents, tweedia and scabisoa pods. The flowers provided that perfect pop of color to jazz up the elegant white and gold tableware. Not to mention, they had been lightly sprinkled with gold dust! Keeping the sparkle in every last detail, the textured gold cake gave us four tiers of unique designs with subtle embellishments along the way.
