Sometimes the word intimate is used a little too often and we forget just how beautiful and special the dear relationships and close gatherings of ours can truly be to deserve such a title. So if you'd like an example of exactly what intimate means, take a little gander at this wedding from Anna Wu Photography. With a guest list of only 28 people and set in a town with less than 200 residents, every adorable detail at the Imperial Hotel perfectly describes the affection and coziness of the word intimate. From Anna Wu Photography... An hour east of Sacramento, there lies a tiny little town called Amador City. Today, with less than 200 residents, it is but a charming little remnant of the California gold rush. Nyesha and Eugene had vacationed here and stayed at the Imperial Hotel a year before, and they decided it would also be the perfect place for their wedding.

It was a hot summery day, a beautiful backdrop for their intimate garden wedding with exactly 28 guests. Everything about the day was delightful, unique and personal. I simply loved it all, from the bride’s amazing sense of style and the groom’s rambunctious Russian family to the quaintness of this little hotel in a little town, tucked away in the gold country’s hidden nugget.
