Ahhh… Christmas Eve. A day filled with last-minute baking, fun family bonding and a whole lot of pretty. The latter brought to you by the crazy gorgeous lineup of merriment we have in store for you today. I’m talking a beautiful photo shoot, a holiday shopping guide and this amazing Christmas e-session styled by Picture This Plan That featuring two NYC cuties, a yummy picnic (hot cocoa included) and a gallery of gorgeous (+ joyous) images from Amy Rizzuto Photography. From Amy Rizzuto Photography… It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and in NYC, it really is magical! Christmas is here, bringing lush green garland to every brownstone, twinkling lights to the tree lined streets, and peppermint hot chocolate to warm up any snowy day. In honor of my favorite holiday, I decided to gift a stylized photo session to one of my incredible Facebook fans! As the contest began, votes piled in faster than presents on Christmas morning. After a nail biting week, one of the nicest couples you will ever meet, Mal and Dan, came out on top! These high school sweethearts just recently got engaged and are planning on tying the knot in September, 2014 on their NINE YEAR anniversary. On their one year wedding anniversary, Mal and Dan will have been together for ten years!
Partnering with Mekina Saylor of Picture This Plan That really brought everything together as this amazing event stylist and planner created the most adorable assortment of holiday treats and decor you have ever seen! White chocolate peppermint bark, a vintage trunk filled with gifts, tiny candy canes, a gingerbread house, old fashioned hot chocolate, and vanilla-vanilla cupcakes were placed on top of a soft plaid blanket in the heart of the West Village! Mal and Dan enjoyed a sweet picnic of holiday goodies before walking hand in hand down 9th Street, nuzzling close as they took in the smell of the fresh pine wreaths and excitedly pointed out the beautiful Christmas decor. A big thanks to this amazing couple and to all of their family and friends for valuing pretty event styling and photography enough to enter this holiday contest and win! Spending the day with you was a true pleasure! Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
