From the Bride… Aaron and I actually met on MySpace, of all places. I saw his profile picture, and something in me was intrigued to know who he was… Little did O realize he was going to knock me off my feet and change my life as I knew it. :) After first making contact, we started to get to know each other for a few months as we lived in two different states. We finally met after around four months, and it wasn’t too long before Aaron proposed. We made the decision to move together and start something fresh for both of us. From there, we moved around a lot, but we knew wherever we were going we were doing it together. Along the way, we had two beautiful children, and our lives have been so full of light and laughter.

We were married on October 14, 2012 on a beautiful property in Yarramalong on the New South Wales Central Coast in Australia. It took us a five-year engagement to finally have our wedding day, and all of our friends and family traveled to come and share it with us. We were able to share the day with our two gorgeous children as well, and they were definitely crowd-pleasers.We DIYed a lot of the wedding, and the theme was shabby chic. My dress was shipped across the world all the way from Florida from an absolutely wonderful friend of mine. It was the first dress I saw and tried on when I started looking.

There were so many things that went wrong along the way during the planning of our wedding including having to change our reception venue 12 weeks out. Ha ha. I was actually quite unwell the day of the wedding and almost did not make it to the ceremony or the reception, but I soldiered on, and I was so happy to marry my best friend and the best man I know.
