From Luxe EventsWe wanted to start with a location that felt like the middle of an open field — the perfect setting for a cupcake picnic. A couple of unique vintage furniture pieces were filled to the brim with gorgeous cake plates in yellows and blues, happy cupcakes and special vessels filled with flowers. Sharon from Organic Elements nailed the “just picked from the fields” look we wanted. Courtney from Brightly Designed created personalized flags and paper details in different shapes and sizes with words capturing journey, adventure, and love — the essence of what Mike and Suzanne are all about! The tables were sweetness-filled with quirky but elegant nods to this awesome couple. CAKE created cake and cupcakes that were just as beautiful as they were delicious.

From Suzanne of Shewanders Photography (The Bride-to-Be)… I can’t believe I’m the engaged one. After being the photographer for so long, it’s amazing to be the one in love. Our talented friends put us at ease and were able to capture the crazy-colorful world that they had created. When I look at the pictures, they feel really honest. I felt very loved. Both by Mike and the amazing vendors who created something so personal for us. It was so much better than I ever imagined; it was all of our favorite things designed and crafted into the craziest story. It is unbelievable to me how much they got us and how fun it all was. The video is us in a nutshell. It’s sweet, has a certain style to it, and it’s just plain hilarious.
