Long Island Wedding from Carmen Santorelli Photography

We’re taking a break from our turkey prepping and apple pie making to bring you this gorgeous Long Island wedding. It’s got just the right amount of vintage elegance mixed with a traditional color palette and we’re eating up all the pretty details. We’re especially in love with the gold framed table numbers and all those pops of red! Carmen Santorelli Photography snapped up all the goodies and there’s so much more to see right here in the full gallery.

From the Bride… Our inspiration for the wedding came from many places and ultimately was a reflection of our love: romantic and timeless. From the vintage-inspired invitations, which we hand-stamped, to the collection of family wedding photographs that we collected and displayed on the mantle, the wedding was full of personal details and mementos. We chose our venue, the NYIT de Seversky Mansion, for its historic charm and breathtaking setting. The first time we visited, we were instantly lost in time and captivated. Our guests enjoyed a European reception, with a cocktail hour that allowed guests to float between the library, terrace room and outdoor patio. The evening continued with a formal dinner in the intimate ballroom, followed by dessert and dancing under stars. The mansion was filled with fall-inspired florals and twinkling candles at every turn. The day was everything that we could have hoped for — an intimate, warm celebration with close friends and family.
