New Hampshire Wedding from Corey Garland Photography

It all came full circle for these high school sweethearts when they decided to tie the knot in the very same place they fell in love over a decade before. Friends and family gathered near the bride’s childhood lake house at the gorgeous Castle in the Clouds to celebrate the new Mr. and Mrs. See the rest of this beauty by Corey Garland Photography in the full gallery!

From the Bride… Dan and I were high school sweethearts who spent our teenage summer days falling in love at my parents’ lake house on Whortleberry Island at Lake Winnipesaukee. So 11 years later, when it came time to search for wedding venues, the first place we visited was Castle in the Clouds. We saw the most beautiful view of Whortleberry we had ever seen, and we knew it was the place we would celebrate our lives together. Little decoration was needed for such a beautiful venue, but as a graphic designer, I still spent countless hours designing invitations, programs, menus and everything in between. Sage green menus, table linens, invitations and bridesmaids’ dresses, along with pops of deep purple flowers, added a light, summery feel to contrast the dramatic views.

My recommendation for any bride is to make sure you find a second on your wedding day to step back with your husband and look at all your loved ones. For us, it was when we had finished our photos and our guests were still at the cocktail hour. We got a quick second to relax in the ballroom and look out at all of our amazing friends and family on the patio. It was the most beautiful sight of the whole day!
