Judy Pak knows a thing or two about snapping a pretty picture. And that’s a fact. Because the images she captures are always, always breathtaking – and have been the cause of quite a few happy dances here at SMP headquarters. Needless to say, when she sent along this gorgeous Greenwich Village e-session, we knew we were in for a love-filled treat. From Judy Pak Photography… Jeesun is a NYU professor and Thomas is an architect. They are quite the charming couple with an arsenal of amusing anecdotes — definitely the type of couple who gets invited to all the dinner parties. For their engagement session, we started around NYU, where much of their courtship took place, and ended at Central Park.
Jeesun and Thomas are a product of an interesting set-up — Thomas had no clue, and Jeesun was initially resistant to the idea. Jeesun’s friend had invited Thomas to be at her husband’s birthday, and Jeesun almost didn’t show up. That night, Thomas arrived late at the dinner and there were two chairs open – one happened to be next to Jeesun. Luckily, Thomas made the right choice and sat down next to the lovely lady he would eventually ask to be his wife. Although they are from two completely different cultures, these two are really from the same place.
