You couldn’t wipe the smile off my face if you tried. I mean, I can’t get over it. From Alanna Scully Photography… From the minute Hannah contacted me (about 24 hours after she got engaged!), I was excited to shoot her wedding. Hannah is one of those people in life who you immediately become friends with. I’m not sure if it’s her infectious laugh, her hilarious sense of humor, her kindness and warmth to everyone she comes in contact with, or a combination of all three, but she truly became one of my favorite brides very quickly. As soon as I met Joe, I felt the same way, and I felt honored that they had both chosen me as their photographer. They were married in Mattapoisett, Massachusetts, at the prep school Hannah attended years ago, and although their love story actually started in Vermont (in the same town where I will be moving next year!), Mattapoisett was a perfect place for them to become husband and wife. They held their tented reception on Hannah’s aunt’s waterfront property, and friends and relatives from both Vermont and Massachusetts danced the night away in a beautiful Sperry tent. And when they weren’t dancing, they were enjoying the delicious s’mores bar set up by Crazy Chefs Caterers. It was the perfect nautical celebration for Hannah and Joe.
