Wakefield Wedding at Le Belvedere from AMBphoto

This wedding totally had us at its gorgeous and perfectly soft color palette and then we saw the reception. And nearly fell out of our chairs. You should all know by now that we are total suckers for anything sparkly, gold and sequin and if it comes in the pattern of chevron, even better in our books! I could go on and on about the bride’s perfect dress, the airy all-white aisle style, and the beautiful florals but I think we should just let AMBphoto tell the story. See Click here for more.

And there’s even a video of all this sweetness from Eduardo Reyes! Be sure to watch:

From the Bride… It’s crazy to think back to our first meeting at the law firm Kelly Santini. My best friend and business partner, Tracy, and I desperately needed to get an agreement completed, and Andre had been given the file. It was an early morning meeting, which I’m sure Tracy and I were late for, and Andre wasn’t excited about having a meeting at 8 a.m. I had no idea I had just met my future husband. I don’t think Andre had any idea of what was to come either. He was quiet and reserved, and I’m pretty sure he didn’t even look me in the eye the entire meeting. We didn’t see much of each other after that — we could do all our correspondence over email. So I had a hot lawyer — no biggie. Life went on. Finally, at the end of the summer, our agreement was ready to be signed, and I went into the meeting, sweaty from just having taught a yoga class, in flip flops and with no makeup. Andre was more chatty than usual — he asked me about my summer, about yoga, etc. Apparently that was when I caught his eye. All I thought was, who knew my lawyer could make small talk?!

Fast forward to October, and I received an email from him inviting me to a charity event his firm was sponsoring at a local restaurant. I went with my friend Amber as my wing woman. I showed up that evening with curiosity about Andre, but that was it. Until I saw him. It was like I saw him for the first time. Love at first sight. We chatted all evening, and there was an undeniable chemistry between us. Even people around us noticed something was definitely brewimg! Amber sent me a text later that night saying, “You just met your future husband, save this text.” Andre was a definite game changer for me. I had all these rules about how I was and how things happened in a relationship, but that all went out the window with him. After I met Andre, I couldn’t picture a future without him in it. I never dreamed about getting married or felt like I needed to be married to live a happy life. However, since Andre, it feels like declaring my love and commitment to him for the rest of my life is the most organic step I’ve ever taken.
