From Dani Stephenson Photography… Lisa and Eric’s wedding was at one of my all-time favorite venues, The Enchanted Barn in Hillsdale, Wisconsin. It’s a magical place to host a wedding, and Lisa and Eric’s details were gorgeous. I loved her colors against the rustic barn. I also loved Lisa’s tea-length dress from BHLDN, and her shoes were to die for — she looked like a little porcelain doll. The day was gorgeous, and everything flowed smoothly. I love these intimate, thoughtful weddings.
From the Bride… I think the things I most about our wedding remember were how much we lucked out on the weather and how wonderful it was to see everyone having such a great time. Everyone was smiling and having fun. I still get compliments from the day, and my parents even get calls at home talking about how much fun and unique our wedding was. I wasn’t so much striving to have an impressive wedding, but I wanted our guests and our wedding party to remember something that was different. I also loved having that once-in-a-lifetime day where everyone we loved was all in one room. Our pictures mean so much to me, and Dani captured so many times and emotions I will never forget. Eric and I are so happy to have had the wedding we dreamed of. It’s nice to look back and think it was all worth it!
