San Francisco Wedding from Viera Photographics

This is by far the most beautiful, spirited, chic bride I have come across in a long time. The fabulous smile on her face says it all. She could not have been happier to start the rest of her life with her handsome groom, and we could all see that. There truly is only one photographer who could have captured her energy just right, and lucky for the couple, Viera Photographics was just the one for the job. Every sweet smile, every loving glance, and every be-yond gorgeous detail was captured brilliantly, and we’ve put them all in one place for your viewing pleasure!

With the help of our family we busted out a few DIY projects. The bride’s father made the programs and painted five beautiful oil paintings for the reception wall at RF80. More specifically, the paintings were representations of milestones in our relationship. They were places that have had a profound impact on Daniel and my relationship. Prints were made from the paintings and that is what we gave away as gifts for the guests. A little window into our lives together. The bride’s mother was responsible for all the flowers. She did the bouquets and the flower arrangements for the church and venue (A huge task- she had an assembly line of family and friends helping the night before the wedding!) It was super special as she used flowers that were meaningful in our lives. Gardenias, roses, lilies of the valley, rosemary from our garden, and small orchids. These are the flowers that have always had a place in our home and in our lives.

The day of the wedding was magical. It was important for me to be present and in my body that day (a difficult task with all the excitement surrounding us). However, I really wanted to keep in my mind what mattered. I didn’t want the focus to be on the “stuff” that comes with throwing a party. I wanted it to be about the commitment and promise we were making to one another in front of our closest friend’s and family. I kept holding on to my peace balm as a way to keep my feet firmly on the ground. The day of my wedding I couldn’t wait to say “I do.” I have found my life partner.

The most emotional moment for me was seeing Daniel for the first time. It was in that moment I realized how much peace he brings to my life. As soon as I saw him everything else felt doable. All the nerves just disappeared, and my fear ceased to exist. It was a super metaphorical moment for me. Just with one look I was like, “we got this.” It was interesting that the most emotional moment for me involved no words.
