Chicago Wedding at Willis Tower from Kristin La Voie Photography

This wedding is a true tribute to the city of Chicago, topped off with model micro skyscrapers in lieu of floral tablescapes — What a beyond cute and urban idea!! This couple trekked around the city prior to their ceremony to find the best Chicago backdrops and moments for their portraits, and BOY did they find them! Check out the lovely pictures below and a whole lot more in the full gallery of images right here, thanks to the amazing work of Kristin La Voie Photography!

From Kristin La Voie PhotographyThe beautiful and modern wedding of Chrissy and Ed took place in the heart of the windy city at the Sears Tower (yes, we know they changed the name but a true Chicagoan will never say Willis!), where they tied the knot on the 99th floor overlooking the bustling city. We started with a first look at the beautiful W City Center and walked a block to “the canyon” at the financial district in front of the Chicago Board of Trade. Chrissy and Ed hailed a cab to Union Station for a few more true Chicago-style photos before arriving to the 103rd floor at the SkyDeck for family portraits. The Chicago theme was done superbly throughout, with skyscraper centerpieces that flickered at night. I loved capturing every moment!
