Charleston Wedding from Carmen Ash Photography + Luke Wilson Special Events

It’s a winning combination: Charleston and Luke Wilson Special Events. Every time the two team up, the result is a soiree so perfectly chic and Southern. Adding Carmen Ash Photography to the lineup makes the perfect even prettier, as you can plainly see in this gorgeous “Great Gatsby meets Old South” wedding. The gallery is my new happy place, and I’m sure I’ll see you there soon!

From Luke Wilson Special EventsMelissa and Aaron wanted a classically clean and modern look for their wedding while not getting away from the grandeur and history of their location. They are your quintessential NYC couple enjoying high fashion, first class food and amazing music. Melissa and Aaron met on a blind date in Manhattan and knew right away they were meant to be.

Drawing inspiration from the Great Gatsby meets Old South, the event was dressed in beautiful shades of blush with bright pops of gold and hints of black and white scattered throughout to tie in the look of the venue. After the wedding at the Citadel Sumerall Chapel the guests dined on the ashley river under tents draped in white and lit in soft blush at one long U shaped table with the bridal party right in the middle. Under the stars guests enjoyed cigar rollers and cake and of course dancing the night away to the band. When asked what her favorite thing was, the bride’s response: everything!
