Killeen Engagement Session from Close to Home Photography

It feels like home looking through these sweet images by Close to Home Photography because that’s exactly what this loving couple has found in each other . . . home. Seeing a pair that’s this blissfully happy makes me happy in recalling my own engagement. If I have any advice about the planning process, it’s to truly cherish every moment {but it sure seems like they won’t have a problem in that area}. Let the countdown begin for their New Year’s Eve celebration! Until then, you can Snuggle up with the full gallery here.

From Close to Home PhotographyIt was a warm, crisp evening in central Texas when I photographed  Arlen Brown and Arlen Smiths engagement portraits. The couple met and fell in love just a little over three years ago through mutual friends, and the pair will be merging their family with Arlen Smith’s 12-year-old son, who is already the center of their world. With a wedding date set for New Year’s Eve, Arlen Brown wanted her engagement portraits to capture the timeless love that they share together, so we crafted a vintage set with her mother’s antique furniture that matched their styles and personalities. The sun was golden and the mood was set. Arlen and Arlen were in their own little world, and I had the honor of capturing it. I can only imagine how magical their New Year’s Eve wedding will be, and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
