Parker Palm Springs Wedding from ARTISAN EVENT FLORAL DÉCOR

As I started parosing this gallery of images by Mi Belle Photography, my eyes lit up. Because this wedding has it ALL. A Black, yellow + white palette, stripes, peonies, a gaggle of the sweetest little attendants you ever did see, knockout maids’ dresses…and that’s just the beginning, lovelies! This mod (and wildly gorgeous) couple enlisted ARTISAN EVENT FLORAL DECOR to design their wedding held at The Parker Palm Springs. The result was totally personal and reflective of their style. See the rest here and don’t miss the film from Resound Productions!

From ARTISAN EVENT FLORAL DÉCORWhen Veronica and Kelly came into the studio, my first thought was, “What a blast — they are a super fun couple!” Kelly’s family has a place in Palm Springs that they make family retreats to. During one of their visits to Palm Springs, Veronica and Kelly found the Parker. After securing the venue, they asked my assistance on the wedding, from beginning to end. Veronica said that she liked yellow, black and white with splashes of orange. She really let me take the lead in creating the day for her, which was a great challenge and really exciting! During our time together, we looked through my books and she pointed out a few things that she loved. This allowed us to create a unique proposal for them; she loved it!

I envisioned a very stylized look for their wedding. Starting with the ceremony, pomanders of yellow and white hung from the olive tree and extra-large yellow pomanders nestled in stylized white urns under the olive trees. The urns were framed with custom black and white striped benches for their eight flower girls and ring bearers, who took their places up front for the ceremony. The ring bearers carried hand made orange, yellow and black stylized pillows Kelly’s grandmother made. The ballroom was set with king tables and round tables with a center dance floor. I created a landscape with white and black abstract pillars topped with yellow button mum pomanders and connected together with wisps of black mindelino reed, giving them a unified and whimsical style. The tables were complemented with a black and white stylized runner and staggered candle stands with floating white candles, creating romance and candlelight!

While talking about their guest book, Veronica told me that they had over a hundred pictures of them kissing —DING! I said why don’t you create a book with the pictures and leave places for people to sign. You will then end up with a great coffee table book. The book turned out amazing. Veronica took the time to place everyone at a seat and we used a pear to attach the place cards to — Veronica and Kelly are the perfect pair. No detail was missed as world famous DJ Graham Funke created a night of fantastic music. The ballroom of the Parker exuded style and was complemented by every detail of Veronica and Kelly’s wedding.
