Mercury Hall Wedding from Caroline + Ben Photography

Mercury Hall is just pure magic. Plan and simple. I’ve never seen a wedding come out of that pretty place I didn’t adore. And I am adding this one captured by Caroline + Ben Photography to my very long list. The flowers, the ceremony setting, and the oh-so in love couple are enough to make me want to let out a squeal this morning, so you know the full gallery is simply a must see. And you can see it all right here.

From the Bride…We wanted a mix of both our personalities. A Native Texas introvert meets transplant New York extroverted girl. Seth is very low key and laid back and a big wedding was not something he wanted. He imaged more of a backyard party with some friends hanging out drinking beers. I always dreamed of my wedding just being one big party. Since we both hate being the center of attention, we had a very small ceremony right before the reception with just immediate family. Everything we did was DIY. We spent a lot of time in antique shops, vintage fairs, and on Etsy to find our decor. We made a lot of our decorations, from refinishing our cake table to make it look vintage, to hand making 120 mason jar candles for the favors.

As a surprise for Seth, I arranged to have his favorite musician play at the reception, Slaid Cleaves. Everything about the day was perfect, from the weather to the desserts to the party. There was a dance party inside and a backyard party outside, a perfect mix of both of us.
