From Moore Photography… During the grooms speech we heard a little noise outside the tent. He told his new wife he wanted to begin their married life together in the clouds… We ran outside to see a hot air balloon ready to go!
From the Bride… Mat and I met in Winnipeg four years ago. My dad and I had started a co-ed soccer team for friends and family. During recruitment, my uncle asked Mat’s uncle (his best friend) if Mat’s dad wanted to join the team (confused yet?). At that time, Mat was working out of town. He happened to be home one day when his dad told him he was going to a co-ed practice with his new team. Mat, also a soccer player, decided to join for fun and see if we had a spot left! I can’t say I wasn’t interested immediately, but it took a couple months for us to start dating. We kept it quiet for a bit but people clued in very quickly. Needless to say, the entire team was extremely happy for us. The rest is history!
I love Mat’s extremely supportive nature (I don’t think I could have made it through my first two years of med school without him), his love for his family (especially his daughter, Tianna) and his goofiness!
