From the Bride… Having both grown up in Florida, it was an easy decision to choose an outdoor ceremony. When we found Innsibrook Golf Resort, we knew we had a perfect match for our dream wedding. Our ceremony took place beneath a large oak tree in front of a lake on a golf course. My husband, being a die hard golfer, suddenly became much more interested in wedding planning. Though I had dreamed of my wedding since I was a girl, I never had a color theme that I could imagine. However, when my sister tried on a blush Amsale dress, I knew I had found the perfect accent to my clean, white, modern design scheme. I was extremely fortunate to have wedding planning pros in family as the youngest of three girls and the third to get married. My sister/maid of honor, who also happens to be a graphic designer, was my saving grace and made the monogram logo used throughout the wedding, invitations, a card box, thank you note fans, table names and place cards. Our florist La Vie en Rose had very similar taste to our own and created elegant arrangements, including a white peony bridal bouquet; pink rose and white hydrangea bridesmaids’ bouquets; a white flower petal scroll aisle design; trees centerpieces with crystals, crystal globes and rose petals; and orchids in water with floating candles, all in white. This wedding could never have been possible without the support and help from all our friends and family.
