Camarillo Wedding at McCormick Home Ranch from Kurt Boomer Photo

When you have a venue that is a beauty all on its own (ahem McCormick Ranch) , it makes designing your wedding around it that much easier. A gorgeous backyard needs only a few personalized details to turn it into pure, unadulterated magic. Open air dining here, jars full of s’mores accouterments by the fire pit there and voila. Now unleash the talented Kurt Boomer behind the lens and we have the makings of a lovely little shindig, green-filled gallery included. See so much more right here.

From the Bride… I had a year and a half to plan our wedding. It all started with the venue I knew where I wanted to get married at: McCormick Ranch. Then I needed to decide on a theme or look for the wedding, so I looked through a dozen magazines and spent thousands of hours looking online at wedding blogs. I pulled out ideas and created a photo page of the overall look I was looking for. My vision was a rustic, vintage farm look. We love the outdoors, and I love the vintage/farm elements that the ranch offers. I love the green barn, the old wagon where guests placed gifts at and the paper lanterns in the trees.
