San Diego Wedding at House of Blues from We Heart Photography

Fire up some blues tunes because this wedding by We Heart Photography is sure to tug on your heart strings. Designed for musicians by musicians, this couple stayed true to their roots and chose the House of Blues as their wedding venue.  Events by Elisa and Penny Blooms Floral Designs carried the tune out from the pops of color in the florals to the sweet stationary, all of which had a classic music feel. Put the continued play on in the full gallery here

From the Bride… Our inspiration for the wedding was to keep everything completely true to who we are. As musicians, it was important to us to incorporate as much of a music theme as possible! From the sheet music boutonnieres to the reception location at House of Blues, everything had some music flair. :) I also love bright colors and tried to incorporate as many DIY projects as possible. Some of our favorite details were the DIY cake topper, card box, centerpieces, candy bar and the live band made up of our friends. Our favorite moment of the day was our grand entrance at House of Blues. Walking into the space all made up and seeing everyone there was an unforgettable moment.

My advice to other brides is to make sure to stay true to who you are when planning every detail. It’s so easy to get side-tracked by all of the wedding inspiration out there and feel like you have to make your wedding a certain way. But if you create a wedding that represents you as a couple it will make the day so much more enjoyable and unforgettable!
