From Kt Crabb Photography… This photo shoot was inspired by the Dr. Seuss quote, “You know you’re in love when you can’t fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams.” It’s way to easy to take the little things for granted. The ability to hold a beloved’s hand, pass along a smile and share in laughter all seem commonplace after married life begins to run it’s course. It’s hard to embrace those delights when disagreements steal the moments from our grasp and leave a silent barrier. But love surely conquers all and reminds us that even though we are faced with many trials, life is certainly better shared.
Our hope for the movie piece was to show a simple disagreement that can come with any relationship. We then contrasted that of the dream the bride has that resemble moments of her wedding day. They day they officially committed to share their lives together, through thick and thin. When she returns to normal life, she is reminded of that commitment by her sweet husband’s actions and forgiveness soon follows.
Emily designed our brilliant areas with a constant theme of vibrant colors easily found through out nature in the early summer months. With a “dream” as our inspiration, Emily ran with the wonderful idea of an overall softness throughout every detail. From the baby’s breath in the bride’s hair to the fluffy white feathers on the bed, she did a marvelous job carrying the theme all the way through!
