Ottawa Engagement Session from Catalina Bloch

It’s official.  An abandoned warehouse is the coolest place EVER for an engagement session.  Case in point?  This seriously hip, seriously amazing shoot styled to perfection by Catalina Bloch.  Chock-full of heartwarming moments between one uber-stunning duo and boasting bundles of oh-so-chic style, this is what we call an awesome-filled urban fun-fest with a big ol’ dose of L.O.V.E.  All captured in beautiful images by AMBphoto, trust me, you can’t miss one moment of pretty.  See it all here.

From Catalina Bloch Paula and Andre’s engagement session almost didn’t happen it had to be re-scheduled three times! We were all starting to wonder why this shoot just wasn’t happening, but the universe knows what it’s doing and what is meant to be, will be. The day we ended up with was perfect, the location we were trying to get was FINALLY available to us, and the weather couldn’t have been any better.

This shoot could have continued for days. Paula and Andre were so natural together, and every time they looked at each other they couldn’t help but smile. The warehouse we shot in used to be a workshop for the city of Ottawa and has been abandoned for a few years now. The character this building has is unreal. The peeling paint that somehow matches throughout the entire building, the metal, framed windows that create the perfect lighting, the large heavy doors with the vintage untouched hardware… it’s just all so amazing. Paula and Andre have a style that laid-back and natural but refined. The contrast of the old, beautiful warehouse with the refined wardrobe just fit them perfectly.
