From Kina Wicks Photography… This Dundee, Illinois wedding was full of sunshine, smiles and elegance. The pastel color scheme, the attention to detail that Katie exhibited in planning her day, and the love that radiated from both the bride and groom really made for a special occasion. I loved the casual elegance of the outdoor ceremony with the wind blowing the lanterns and everyone fanning themselves to stay cool, all with the background of the shimmering lake. Katie & Jonathan met at the University of Iowa so a special touch at the end of the night was a visit by Herky… the official mascot of the college!
