From Papered Heart Photography… We had the honor of traveling to France to shoot the wedding of Kim and Jeremy Tharp this past May to document their fairytale wedding. Kim and Jeremy also opted to have a day-after session in the French countryside. On the morning after their wedding day, we hopped onto the rail leaving Paris for Vernon, and from there, we rented bicycles for our exploring journey to Giverny, where Monet is from. We passed glorious pastures with wild ponies and fields of flowers in bloom and traveled along cobblestone roads to historic Giverny, which is full of artistic history and charm. We got off the beaten path to take our couple to the best remote spots that we had scouted the weekend before and captured the uniqueness of their love amid old French homes and the best countryside views around. Since having this awesome and personal experience with our couple, we now include a day-after session for all of our destination weddings! It’s a must-have in destination planning, and we think it’s the best way to document your experience in a different locale.
