Fort Lauderdale Wedding from Meghan Stewart Photography + J Morgan Flowers

We had a visit from the Wedding Fairy at lunch time, and she dropped off a soiree that is going to make the girly girls week in the knees at the first sight of pink, the classic brides blush at the first bowtie spotting, and the floral fanatics more than a little gleeful at the first bouquet from J Morgan Flowers. It’s a wedding that is perfect for everyone and it’s captured magnificently by Meghan Stewart Photography. Click here for more!

I was totally caught by surprise when one night Rob told our dog ‘Mahi” to give me a kiss and there on the collar was an engagement ring…..Rob quickly feel to his knees to ask me to be his wife…it was a very sureal moment, and of course I said “yes’!

Planning the wedding had some difficulties as we lived almost a 5 hour drive from where we were getting married and meeting vendors was sometimes a struggle as they work weekends and that was when we were available. My favorite vendor was Jacqueline at J Morgan Flowers. She really took the time to get to know me, my style and the vision I had for the wedding as well as making me happy she had to make my parents happy too! When I saw my bouquet I was speachless. Jacqueline asked for a family heirloom to attach to the handle, as she passed the bouquet to me there was my great grandmothers hankie. Somehow seeing this made the day become real and I was really getting married in a few hours.

When I walked into the church and I saw Rob for the first time it was as if everyone else dissapeared and it was just us… I don’t really remember anything about the ceremony other than seeing him and knowing it was all ok!

Our main aim other than getting married was really for everyone to have a great time… our DJ delviered! People called us the next day to say how muhc fun they had, and that was exactly what we wanted.
