From Kayla O’Rourke of KObridalImagine a whimsical, storybook romance filled with old-world, vintage details set amongst the most rustic, divine ranch. The bride crowned with a flower halo, wearing a dress adorned with delicate feathers and lace. The groom looking dapper in a black velvet bow tie, heirloom pocket watch and ivory brogues. Their ceremony in front of a golden field of wheat, their first dance beneath twinkle lights, and their first meal as a married couple amongst brass woodland critters, worn storybooks and their adorable pup.

This inspiration shoot was a handcrafted labor of love. We had the help of some amazing creatives with big imaginations, and this shoot is our lovechild. From the dressmaker to the paper goods designer, we all shared some incredible ideas and once we found Stone Barn Ranch, our ideas came to life! The ranch is a dream venue for any bride with a love for all things rustic! The old barn tells a story of its own as the golden light from a day’s end shines through its worn windows and between the charming wooden boards. The ranch caters to very detailed and handmade weddings, allowing couples to use the ranch up to two days prior to the wedding to set up every detail of their special day!

The florals were all handmade from dried wheat, pine cones, baby’s breath, feathers and ivory peonies, and the stems of the bouquet were wrapped in a delicate lace ribbon. The ball jars were hand painted an antique gold and trimmed with more lace ribbon. All the brass woodland critters were ordered from Etsy, and their dainty flower crowns were handmade with love. Our goal was to bring a storybook romance to life, with handcrafted and vintage detailing!
