I love a Bride with a vision. Mostly when her vision just happens to be seriously gorgeous like this lovely lady's. Her seaside soiree comes to life beautifully through the images by Danielle Gillett Photography, and it's all so lovely I couldn't possible pick my favorite feature of the day. From the gorgeous blooms to the gorgeous details to the gorgeous couple - it's a lovely vision if I ever did see one! Catch it all here!

From the Bride... Growing up in Santa Cruz, I always wanted a beach wedding. However, with my dad in a wheelchair, I couldn't imagine how we would ever be able to get him onto the sand. I fell in love with the idea of having my wedding at the Seascape Beach Resort because of their beautiful bluff nestled into the cliffs with panoramic ocean vistas and their handicap accessibility. I wanted to transform my ceremony space into the shoreline, mixing flowing grasses, agave and succulents with driftwood, old ship floats, shells and bottles. It felt like you were walking along the beach after a storm. I'd also found old doors and tables that looked like they had spent a lifetime by the sea.

Having grown up in a flower shop, it was really hard for me to pick out my wedding flowers. My mind would change from week to week. I swear I drove my poor mom crazy asking her about all of the different flower combination schemes I would hatch. The flowers had to not only be beautiful but really had speak about what my husband and I like. Finally, I found the perfect mixture of elegant and classic flowers with just the right amount of fun and funky textures. Garden roses, lilac, hydrangea and ranunculus mixed with tillansias, scabiousa pods (my husband's favorite), succulents and bunny tail grass put me in flower heaven!

For the reception, I wanted to create an oasis. Ever since I started planning my wedding there were three things that I needed for my reception. I had to have a capiz shell chandelier, peony linens (my favorite linen by La Tavola) and casual bamboo chairs. I knew that everything else would fall into place as long as I had those things.
