From Karen Pfeiffer Photography… Aimee and Mark were married on a deliciously golden autumn afternoon. Their wedding took place on a Thursday at Coriole Vineyards, in the McLaren Vale (South Australia), and was an exquisite, yet intimate celebration with their closest family and friends. It was important to Aimee and Mark that their wedding reflect their growing family, and so it was full of warmth, love and closeness. Of particular importance was their son’s involvement — they both wanted Reuben included as much as possible. He almost stole the show!
Mark prepared for the wedding at a quaint little cottage just up the road from a separate cottage where Aimee was getting ready (both in the McLaren Vale). Coriole Vineyards provided the perfect backdrop and, coupled with the sun, created such a magical feel throughout the day. Coriole is beautiful, and there were so many little “pockets” to capture the Bride and Groom in as we wandered throughout the grounds. Just prior to the wedding day, Aimee and Mark had filled me in on the secret that they were expecting their second child. They wanted to surprise their guests with the wonderful news, and so the party had even more of a celebratory feel to it!
The beautiful couple chose to work with Kiera from Rapture Events and Design. Kiera put together an amazing array of candles, fresh flowers and rustic features, all pieced together to complement the pretty bouquets and colors that the bride and groom had chosen for their day. Their cake and dessert bar was styled by Rapture Events and Design and filled with delicious creations from Muratti Cakes and Gateaux.
