From the Bride… It was important to us to have a small wedding. We kept the guest list as small as we could and had only our closest friends. We had the ceremony in a lovely sunlit field and then had the reception in a rustic red barn. The fact that my entire family was involved made the day so special. My dad made the feasting tables for the reception. Those tables were one of the most important elements for the whole look of the wedding. My mom and her friends did all of the flowers, and they were stunning. The fabric canopy that went over the dance floor made it feel like we were dancing in a dream world. It was also really important to have good food and cake. I actually made the cake and cupcakes myself with decorating help from my grandma and my sister. I worked with one of my chef friends to plan out the exact menu we wanted. The best part was that we were able to have an amazing wedding with a very small budget.
