NYC City Hall Elopement by Karen Kristian Photography

I wish I was just a smidgen as chic as this couple. Actually, I would take half a smidgen because this elopement is just chic and then some. Not to mention 14 years in the making. Yes, 14 years and they still can’t take the “I’m so in love” look off their faces. Swoon. Karen Kristian Photography captured all the City Hall chicness, which is a good thing, because I plan on soaking up all the sweetness in the full gallery of images!

From Karen Kristian Photography This was one of the sweetest, most romantic weddings I’ve ever shot. Dean and Louise are from Australia and after being together for 14 years (!), they flew to New York City to elope in City Hall. They stayed at The Jane hotel in the West Village, and we took some photos along the Highline, at and near City Hall, and in the Village. I’ve never seen a couple more in love and more giddy about each other. On the way to City Hall, Louise told me a story of one of their experiences in New York. They were at a local bar in the East Village, and they began talking with an old man who was born just a few blocks from the bar and had lived there his whole life. They asked him for any advice, and he said, “The secret to life: to be loved.” Such true words and they believed it so! They stayed in New York for a week and then returned home to their families to celebrate there.
