About Southern Fried Paper…While planning her own wedding, owner/designer, Chelsea Carpenter, had a hard time finding an invitation that fit her individual style and budget. She looked through book after book of invitations and eventually gave up on the traditional retail lines. Having a degree in creative advertising design, she decided to design her own wedding stationery.

We are a newlywed couple, Shanna and Michael Pharis, who founded Nostalgia Film in 2010. We both have a background in and love of film, and during the course of planning our own wedding, we fell in love with the idea of capturing weddings, family memories, and other events on the nostalgic and timeless medium of Super 8 film that we both remember from our childhoods.
